This is simply a float-switch which clamps onto the side of the sump.

When the level drops a signal is sent to the pump in the top-up tank which is then activated & sends RO water to the Stirrer & sump.

The wire at the top leads to a temp sensor which controlls the fans on the Eco-cooler.
